Imo it 's about time that you also get fame if you win Guild vs Guild battles. If you beat one of the Top 1000 Guilds you get 1 fame for a victory, for one of the Top 500 Guilds 2 fame. And 5 fame if you beat one Guild of the Top 100 (or something like that). If you win a Guild vs Guild battle your Guild rang rise, but you don't get any personal reward like fame or rang. (expect Balthasar points). What do you think?

There are lots of threads about this so rather than rehash all of that I'll give the short answer:

Winning in GVG is a whole heck of a lot easier than winning in Tombs is, so giving Fame for GVG would make Fame have far less meaning, and stop most people from bothering with Tombs.

fighting in GvG is not the same as fighting in tombs and it never will be

In gvg you fight to raise your guild's rank, not get fame.

I'd rather see all fame and rank go.

But if Anet insists on keeping it, then they should give SOMETHING, whether it is fame or some new type of thing, to GvG AND Arena players AND PvE (for finishing the game/chapter).

Guild honor and personal honor are two different things. The guild ladder is enough reconition for GvG. Just because people don't tell you what you want to hear doesn't mean its not a decent answer.

Stop trying to go around the system to get something for nothing, you want some fame go to Tombs and earn it like a man. Stop trying to create a welfare system for fame handouts. Fame is a reward for tombs and available for all who dare reach out and grab it. Not to be manipulated by the corruption of large guilds and smurfs.
